Have a salty good time at the Sun Tequila Tasting. It’s returning to the Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Connecticut, on Saturday, July 22, 2023, from 8 pm to 11 pm.
Salt, sugar and limes are going to come together with delicious tequila for an explosion of flavor. Enjoy a wide range of tequila samples and margarita samples.

The Premier Patron Patio will be back this year. You can pedal a one of a kind blender stationary bicycle and mix up your very own margarita at the exclusive patio sponsored Happy Hour. It will be prior to the Sun Tequila Tasting and will go from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm at Sun’s Earth Terrace.
Expert brand ambassadors will be pouring Patron Gran Platinum, Patron Gran Piedra, Patron Gran Burdeos ad Patron El Cielo for you to taste. You can use Patron’s custom Virtual Reality set to fully immerse in the grand hacienda and explore. Entertainment & Other Festivities
You can enjoy live entertainment at the Mohegan Sun Tequila Tasting. The popular DJ Rico will be there spinning the hits. Dance to his high energy beats.
Enjoy the music of Fiesta del Norte. Their repertoire comes from the Nortenas of Chihuahua to the Mariachis of Jalisco down to the Marimba music of Chiapas. All this is played on authentic instruments. They’ll be dressed in traditional sombreros and “charro” outfits. Song translations, cultural insights and storytelling are mixed in between songs.
While you’re enjoying the music and sipping tequila, you can indulge in savory Mexican fare from Hot Tacos. Your ticket also includes food samples.
Hot Tacos is a popular Mexican restaurant in Cromwell, Connecticut, known for their tacos and tapas. Its dishes have bold Mexican and Asian influences.
During the tasting, you can capture the memories in their photo booth and get instagram worthy pictures.
A portion of the proceeds will go to support the United Way of Southeastern Connecticut.
