Are you looking forward to Cinco de Mayo this year?  I know I am!  There are a lot of fun festivities that happen around Cinco de Mayo.  Especially with Cinco de Mayo falling on the weekend (a Friday) this year!

Especially if you are visiting Orlando, Florida.  There are a lot of great Orlando Cinco de Mayo festivities.  We’ll go over the best.

1. Cinco de Mayo at SeaWorld Orlando

SeaWorld Orlando has a great Cinco de Mayo event.  It takes place the weekend before Cinco de Mayo (Thursday, April 27th through Sunday, April 30th) and the weekend of Cinco de Mayo (Thursday, May 4th through Sunday, May 7th).  There will be live bands playing classic Mexican music, a DJ dance party, delicious Mexican dishes prepared by SeaWorld chefs, Mexican craft beer and specialty cocktails, and more.  Find out more information about SeaWorld’s Cinco De Mayo event here.

2. Cinco de Mayo with Paco Osuna at Elixir Orlando

Elixir Orlando is a cool downtown Orlando restaurant and bar with weekend DJs.  They’ve got a good one coming in for Cinco de Mayo.  Paco Osuna is a DJ who is one of the most renowned artists in the electronic music industry.  You can book tickets to Cinco de Mayo with Paco Osuna here.

3. Cinco De Mayo Street Party Celebration

There will be a Cinco de Mayo Street Party Celebration at Promenade at Sunset Walk.  Promenade at Sunset Walk is an outdoor entertainment district in Kissimmee right by the Margaritaville Resort Orlando.  There are a lot of fun things to do at Promenade (like Island H2O Water Park) and great restaurants (like Cowboy Chicken, Lizzie’s Memphis Style Barbecue, and, one of my family’s personal favorites, Ford’s Garage).

They are hosting their third annual “Cinco De Mayo” Street Party and Celebration on May 5, 2023.  DJ Gabriel will spin the best Latin Pop, Merengue, Salsa, Bachata, and more.  There will be live music, street performers, and dancing.  There will also be food and drink specials including margaritas & mojitos.

4. Cinco de Mayo Silent Disco!

New York Beer Project Orlando in Winter Garden is hosting a Cinco de Mayo Silent Disco on their second floor.  This event includes Margaritas, beers, and even a special Fireworks viewing.

5. Cinco de Mayo Street Party at the Marketplace

The Marketplace at Avalon Park is a food hall in East Orlando.  They’ll be hosting a street party on Cinco de Mayo from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM.  There will be music, food, and drink specials.  You can find out more about this event here.
