Cinco de Mayo is quickly approaching. And this year, you can celebrate this famous Mexican celebration at SeaWorld Orlando.
SeaWorld’s Cinco de Mayo celebrations take place on the weekends, from Thursday through Sunday. It begins on Thursday, April 27, 2023. It concludes on Sunday, May 7, 2023.
SeaWorld theme park in Orlando, Florida is one of my family’s favorite places to spend fun holidays. This year alone we rang in the New Year and spent Mardi Gras at SeaWorld Orlando and had a wonderful time. We know your family will enjoy SeaWorld’s Cinco de Mayo celebration.
Especially given what they have planned for the event. We’ll go over what you can enjoy here. And then we’ll tell you how you can save money on tickets to SeaWorld Orlando with a coupon!
Fiesta in the Street
Like with SeaWorld Orlando’s Mardi gras celebration, the place to be at SeaWorld during the Cinco de Mayo celebration is the Wild Arctic Plaza. That’s where the Fiesta in the Street is taking place. Entertainers like stilt walkers make the celebration a lot of fun. This takes place from 12:00 PM through 6:00 PM.
SeaWorld is known for having great entertainers. You can see that in our video of SeaWorld’s Mardi Gras celebration:
DJ Dance Party
You can also enjoy a great DJ dance party near the Wild Arctic Plaza. You can jam to old and new hits. This also takes place from 12:00 PM through 6:00 PM.
Hear traditional Mexican music from live musicians. The music starts playing at 12:00 PM and keeps going through 6:00 PM.
Mexican Food & Drinks
A neat thing about the Cinco de Mayo Celebration is that it overlaps with SeaWorld’s Seven Seas Food and Wine Festival. One of the food & drink stations at this festival is themed to Mexico. So it is only fitting that during Cinco de Mayo, you’ll be able to enjoy Mexican foods and drinks.
- Tostada de Barbacoa with Guajillo Chile Beef, Queso Fresco, Pickled Red Onion & Cilantro
- Taco al Pastor with Chipotle Ancho Adobo Chicken, Mazina Tortilla, Onion Pineapple Cabbage & Cilantro
- Mexican Street Corn with Queso Fresco, Cilantro Avocado Crema & Tajin
- Sopapilla with Chantilly Cream & Champurrado Sauce
- Dos Equis from Cuauhtémoc Moctezuma Brewery in Monterrey, NL
- Modelo Especial from Grupo Modelo Brewery in Mexico City
- Frozen Pitaya Punch with Bacardi Rum, Dragon Fruit, Triple Sec, Cranberry & Lime
If you want to sample more than one of these (and why wouldn’t you?) you should consider getting a Seven Seas Food & Beverage Sampler Lanyard. This Lanyard can save you a lot of money on food and drinks bought during the festival. Don’t believe me? Check out our calculations in our Seven Seas Lanyard breakdown.
Unlike SeaWorld’s spooky Halloween event, Howl-O-Scream, the Cinco de Mayo Celebration is not an event that requires a special ticket. Instead, it is included in the cost of admission. Click here to book a ticket at a discounted rate.
