The Vietnamese New Year Festival will be celebrated in Raleigh, North Carolina, on Sunday, January 19, 2025, from 10 am to 2:30 pm, at Dorton Arena.
This will be a celebration of the Year of the Wood Snake. The snake symbolizes wisdom, adaptability and fortune in Eastern culture. Those born in the Year of the Wood Snake are said to be intelligent and intuitive.
Tet is short for Tet Nguyen Dan which is the Vietnamese Lunar New Year and the most important holiday in Vietnam.

Traditional Vietnamese food will be available for purchase.
There will also be an evening program from 6 pm to 11:30 pm at Dorton Arena. Enjoy singing and dancing performances by the nationally acclaimed singer Diem Suong, the sensational songstress Hoang Thuc Linh and the celebrated singer, Quoc Khanh.
There will also be a four course dinner and drinks.
