Would you like to see a 50 foot Megalodon and see it move? Would you like to have a roaring good time roaring with the dinosaur? If your answer is yes, you need to go to the Jurassic Quest Drive Thru.

The Rose Bowl’s outdoor parking area is being transformed into a prehistoric park. Step way back in time – 66 million years in fact – and see incredibly realistic dinosaurs.

Jurassic Quest is a drive through experience. You’ll see the dinosaurs in the safety and comfort of your car. A contact free event, you’ll have no worries about social distancing.

Each dinosaur was painstakingly reproduced in every detail. Leading paleontologists were consulted and they made sure the dinosaurs were accurately portrayed.

Every dinosaur took months to make. They are made out of layers of foam over an animatronic metal frame. There are motors inside the dinosaurs that make their movements. The dinosaurs will move, turn their heads, swing their tails and some can walk.

As you drive through the world of dinosaurs, you’ll have your own digital audio tour guide to tell you exactly what you’re seeing. It features show entertainers and dinosaur wranglers. Like the drive, it lasts about an hour. You’ll hear about the history of dinosaurs, the places they lived and the periods in which they lived. It’s a fun way to learn about science.

Which Dinosaurs You’ll See at Jurassic Quest

You’ll see over 70 life like dinosaurs. They come in all sizes, from the chicken sized Microraptor to the 80 foot long Spinosaurus. A Tyrannosaurus Rex will tower over your car. Watch the animatronic dinosaurs moving and roaring as you drive. They are thrilling, but not scary.

Marvel at the Apatosaurus with a long neck that reaches 40 feet high. The Carnotaurus has horns on its head and spikes all over its body. The Ankylosaurus is covered with massive knobs and oval plates of bone which are common in today’s crocodiles and armadillos.

Tyson, the baby Tyrannosaurus Rex, is adorable. You’ll see Triceratops, Velociraptors, Brachyceratops, Dracorex, Troodob, Psittacosaurus, Minmi and many more.
