It’s time for the run of the roses! And there’s no better place to watch the race and party than Las Vegas!

You can cheer on your favorite horse or jockey with a Mint Julep in your hand at Circa Resort & Casino Las Vegas. The party will begin at 2 pm at the Legacy Club Rooftop Cocktails.
Guests are encouraged to dress to impress in derby attire. There will be a Derby Day Hat Contest. You’ll need to check in gor for the contest at the host check in level 1 of Legacy Club. You’ll get a pin to wear identifying you as a contestant. The judges will be looking the most unique and lavish hat. The prize will be a Beverage Credit of $300 at the Legacy Club. It must be used on or before May 2, 2027.
Mint Juleps are the Derby day drink. It is a delicious concoction of bourbon, sugar, mint and crushed ice. Stop by the Spritz & Mint Julep bar to get one for yourself. There will be an open bar for Mint Juleps and other derby themed cocktails.
There will be a spread of derby inspired bites, including
- Hot Bourbon Bread Pudding
- Benedictine Cucumber Sandwiches
- Chocolate Pecan Magic Bars
- Petite Kentucky Hot Brown
- Bourbon Bacon Jam Crostini
- Pimento Cheese Deviled Eggs

Legacy Club Rooftop Cocktails is on the 60th floor of Circa Resort & Casino. This elegant lounge gives you a panoramic view of the Las Vegas skyline. You can see their show stopper attraction which is a display of 1,000 ounces of gold.
“And they’re off!”
You’ll have a front row seat to the most exciting two minutes in sports. There will be full coverage pre-race and during the race, live audio will tell you who’s in the lead.
Live music will entertain you before and after the race. Have fun singing along to Derby Day songs like “My Old Kentucky Home” and “Run For The Roses.” Betting windows will be open so that will add to the fun.
