June is almost here, which means that it is pride month! And if you want to celebrate pride in Los Angeles, one way to do that is at the Los Angeles Dodgers’ 10th annual Pride Night!
Pride Night this year falls on Friday, June 14, 2024. They play the Kansas City Royals at 7:10 PM that night.
LGBTQ+ Pride Night has a special ticket package. If you purchase the special ticket package, then you get a free Dodgers LGBTQ+ jersey. It’s got rainbows and is quite attractive. You can see it for yourself and buy the ticket package here.
You’ll need to act quickly though to get the package. Special event packages with Dodgers freebies tend to sell out quickly. If you do miss out on it, though, you can still go to the game and enjoy the game. You can buy a ticket here.
Pre-Game & Post-Game Festivities
But the festivities aren’t even limited to just the game. The fun really begins at 5:10 PM at Center Field Plaza. You can enjoy great music and drink specials.
There’s a lot of great talent performing pre-game, too. Stud Country will give a live performance and line dancing lessons at 5:20 PM. Stud Country honors the great history of LGBTQ cowboy country.
At 6:10 PM, you can enjoy the popular Los Angeles queer DJ, DJ Brizzle. Then at 6:20 PM, there is a Vogue Off on the Pride Stage! There will be celebrity judges: Gerald Garth (LA Pride Board President), Anthony Allen Ramos (GLAAD VP), and Sherry Cola (actress, comedian, and writer).
There are festivities on the field before the game, too. There’s a kickball championship game from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM. Then Destiny Rogers will be performing the National Anthem before the game.
After the game, you can enjoy a fireworks show brought to you by General Mills. All of this is something you can do regardless if you buy the special ticket package or not!
This event is presented by Blue Shield of California. It should be a fun night for everyone who attends!
