South Coast Botanic Garden’s GLOW event is back this year, and even better.  The holiday event has been reimagined for its second year.

GLOW (which stands for Garden Lights & Ocean Waters) is a great way to see the South Coast Botanic Garden’s plant collection in a whole new way.  There is also great music playing and food and drinks available.  So you can sip cocktails while taking in the beautiful holiday lights.  And they’ve got a lot of beautiful Christmas lights!

They have fun sections, like The Bayou and Banyan Falls.  You get to see chasing waterfalls set to a special musical soundtrack.  There are interactive exhibits.  And there are themed nights like:

  • Ugly Christmas Sweater Night
  • Neon Night
  • Kids’ Beach Night
  • Garden Lights and Ocean Waters Conservation Night

GLOW takes place at South Coast Botanic Gardens in Palos Verdes in Los Angeles County in Southern California.  The event runs from November 20, 2021, through January 17, 2022.
