The Miracle at Big Rock is a one-of-a-kind holiday event. It takes place at the sprawling Big Rock Creek in St. Croix Valley in Wisconsin. The event runs through January 3, 2026. It is 1,000 acres of panoramic views of gorgeous countryside.
And it is quite the sight. Quite literally, actually, because there are gorgeous Christmas lights everywhere. In fact, there are over seventeen million lights!
Walk-Through Experience
You can walk through the experience and admire the colors and bright lights. It is a one-mile long holiday lights path. Some of the lights make up beautiful holiday icons like an ornament you can walk through. There are arches you can walk under. And since this is a nighttime event, you’ll be able to see these gorgeous lights with the dark night sky as the perfect backdrop.
There are also fun winter activities. Like you can take part in sledding. You can make your own s’mores. Food trucks are onsite and crafted cocktails are available. On select nights there are fireworks. There are appearances from special characters. This includes visits with Santa Claus himself at the special Cookies with Santa experience and story time with a princess.
The fun doesn’t stop there. There are live musical performances and fireworks. So it really is a special, fun event.
Worried you might get too cold? There are VIP tents you can rent and you can warm up in them! You can also step inside where there are indoor holiday vendors! You can shop for unique handmade gifts in a charming barn.
Drive-Through Experience
But if you are concerned about getting too cold, you could consider the drive-through experience. You could see the lights from the comfort of your car. Afterwards, you could visit the barn (also indoors) and enjoy hot drinks, pizza, holiday vendors, and photos with Santa!
