You’ve played Minecraft multiple times. You’ve seen the movie. But have you ever gotten to feel like you’re literally in the middle of the action?
Well, now is your chance with the new Minecraft Experience: Villager Rescue. This immersive experience opens today at Square One Mississauga.
I really love this concept because I think it’s really fun to experience something I am a fan of in an entirely new way.
And in this immersive experience, you will have a mission. You’ll need to rescue villagers from a zombie attack.
You’ll get to use the Orb of Interaction to help you with your task. This is a handheld device that allows you to engage with the rest of the world.
There are seven interactive Minecraft rooms. You’ll explore these rooms and gather ingredients.
Then it is your mission to use these ingredients to create a life-saving potion. You’ll need to do that before time runs out. You’ll also build structures during this time.
Oh, and did I mention you’ll interact with iconic mobs as well as spiders, skeletons, and creepers?
Once you save the world from zombies, I think it’s more than appropriate that you celebrate your heroic actions. You can do that over at the Trading Post, where you can purchase a souvenir to remember your Minecraft experience.

So this experience is amazing enough, but you know what would make it even better? Making sure you were booking it for the lowest price!
You can get discounted prices for admission if you book on select dates here. The cheapest days of the week to visit are Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Friday is the second cheapest day. Saturday and Sunday are the most expensive. So if possible, book your ticket for Monday, Wednesday, or Thursday.
But don’t delay purchasing a ticket! A lot of dates are quickly selling out. So make sure you book your ticket before it’s too late!
