Tampa Bay Barbecue Festival & Competition will be coming to Vinoy Park in St. Petersburg on May 23 and 24, 2026. This will be a smoke filled celebration of Florida flavors. It will be more than just a food festival. This will be a complete “Florida Barbecue Experience.”
Renowned pitmasters will be preparing everything from slow smoked brisket to barbecued chicken. Come watch them work their magic! Every corner of the festival will deliver bold Southern goodness. Cold beer and local bands will add to the festivities.

Children 10 and under are free with a paid guardian.
Some of the finest pitmasters will fire up their grills and smokers to deliver delicious barbecue. The competition will have two parts – a Judged Competition and a People’s Choice Competition from attendees. Each competing team will provide a sampler platter for sale that includes brisket, pulled pork, chicken and ribs. The winners will be announced on Sunday afternoon.
