Richard Bean of Malo
Richard Bean of Malo is the co-founder and former lead singer of the Latin rock band Malo. He wrote and sang “Suavecito” which hit #18 on the Billboard charts in 1972. This song is widely regarded as a Chicano rock anthem. Bean formed the funk/Latin band Sapo with his brother Joe.
Richie Rich
Richard Sorrell, aka Richie Rich, is a hip hop pioneer and rapper. He joined the group 415 in the late 1980s. His rapping style had a major influence on Snoop Dog. His albums include “Don’t Do It,” “Half Thang” and “Seasoned Veteran.”
Rappins4-Tay
Rappins4-Tay is a rapper from San Francisco. His greatest hits include “Playaz Club” and “I’ll Be Around.”
D-Shot
D-Shot is a rapper from Vallejo, California. He started as a member of Click which included his brothers E-40 and Suga-T and his cousin B-Legit. His greatest hits include “Ask About Me,” “Tired Of Being Stepped On,” “(I’ll Be Yo’) Huckleberry” and “Let’s Get Drunk.”
Nacho Martinez will also be performing at the Tequila Fest.
