You may have seen the Legend of Sleepy Hollow, but not like this. A neat thing about this production is the outdoor theater. You get a backdrop of a historic mill which adds to the setting. The dark sky at night and flickering lanterns add to the spookiness. The natural sounds of the Ozarks in the background also add to the experience. It is a very different experience than you would get in an indoor theater.
The production also adds to the experience with haunting music, dramatic lighting, and suspenseful stage effects. It makes for a great experience.
And then of course there is the story. I have always loved The Legend of Sleepy Hollow and I think it’s a wonderful story to enjoy around Halloween. You get to follow Ichabod Crane’s journey as he confronts the Headless Horseman. The story has a lot (romance, suspense, and twists). But it is also family-friendly so all ages can enjoy it.
The performance runs through Halloween, so there are still three shows left: Wednesday (October 28th), Friday (October 30th), and Saturday (October 31st). If you want to attend one of these shows, keep reading to find out how to save money on your ticket.
