ICE! featuring Harry Potter at Gaylord Texan Resort features Hogwarts, Hogsmeade & scenes from the movies in ice sculptures. Save 41% on a ticket with a coupon.
Now what exactly, is ICE!, you may be wondering? Well, ICE! is a really unique seasonal event that the Gaylord Texan Resort prepares for all year-long. More than two million pounds of ice get transformed into magical holiday scenes and characters. A wonderful team of ice carvers work on this all-year long, and the results are breathtaking. And each year has a different theme.
This year’s theme is Harry Potter. This is a brand new theme that, as a Potterhead, I am really excited about. The whole event is Harry Potter & Christmas themed.
ICE! is a self-guided, walk-through experience. In order to keep the ice cold, the venue is kept at 9 degrees. But don’t worry; parkas are provided.
ICE! takes place at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center in Grapevine. The Gaylord Texan Resort is about halfway between Dallas, Texas, and Fort Worth, Texas.
And like the state it’s in, everything is bigger and better at the Gaylord Texan. Highlights of this great hotel include spacious rooms and suites, a spa, a nightclub, bars, an indoor pool, lazy river, and a great restaurant in Zeppole Coastal Italian.
And then there are the hotel’s wonderful seasonal events. They’ve got great activities and extras all year, but perhaps none is more special than something that goes on during the holiday season. And that is ICE!
This event starts on November 13, 2026, and will run through January 3, 2027. But don’t delay in getting a ticket. This is a popular event that could sell out.
