You’ll receive a safety briefing and then depart from the Haleiwa Boat Harbor, heading out to sea for approximately three miles. Grab a snorkel and a mask and dive into the Pacific Ocean. Enter the comfortable, safe custom-built cage and wait for the fun to begin!
With underwater visibility reaching 150 feet or more, you’ll see the sharks coming up from the depths of the ocean.
You can expect to see Galapagos and sandbar sharks ranging from 5-15 feet in length. They will circle only inches away from the cage. Watch them swim around the cage again and again.
You can look a shark in the eye with no glass barrier in between. Is it true that sharks have “dead” eyes? Find out for yourself. This truly is a one-of-a-kind experience.
Your guide will have told you of the unique traits of these sharks and you can look for these traits. Other marine life you might see would be barracudas, tuna, spinner dolphins, green sea turtles, and humpback whales.
Enjoy breathtaking views of Oahu’s shoreline as you make your way back to the North Shore.
Shark encounters on Oahu are safe, fun, and exciting! Fun for the whole family! You are going to want to cage dive again and again.
