There are a lot of great events going on in Orlando, Florida during Christmas time. And that’s ICE! at Gaylord Palms.
ICE! at Gaylord Palms is an incredibly popular holiday celebration, and for good reason. Each year, more than a million pounds of ice are uniquely carved to make depict wonderful holiday scenes. This year will be no different. The theme this year is THE POLAR EXPRESS! You’ll be able to see iconic scenes from the very popular Christmas story carved into ice with incredible detail.
There will also be a Nativity scene carved in crystal-clear ice. You can also visit The Frostbite Factory, a live ice carving zone where you can watch artisans from Harbin, China hard at work. There are also 2 million holiday lights on display!
There’s also other season fun going on at Gaylord Palms. There are five two-story ice slides. And there’s an eight-lane tubing hill that is covered in real snow!
