Looking for some good, old-fashioned holiday fun in San Antonio, Texas this year? Then head to Coca-Cola Classic Christmas! You know this event includes classic Christmas activities because, well, classic is in the name!
But Coca-Cola Classic Christmas really is the kind of old-fashioned holiday event we are all longing for in these crazy times. There are carolers singing classic holiday songs. You can skate around an ice skating rink with your family, friends, or a date. There are snow slides where you can slide down a snow-covered hill (in San Antonio, no less!). There are pictures with Santa Claus and storytime with Mrs. Claus. You can look for handmade Christmas gifts made by a local artisan at the Market Square. You can watch classic Coca-Cola holiday shorts under the stars at Cinemark Theatre. It’s the kind of event you could imagine attending with your parent or grandparent as a child.
But that’s not to say the event doesn’t take advantage of modern technology. And by that, I mean there are plenty of photo opportunities! Not only can you get a picture with Santa, but you can also pose with the Coca-Cola Polar Bear and at the iconic Coca-Cola Caravan. There’s also a huge Christmas tree that makes a great background for photos. Come to think of it, though, that’s the kind of thing I enjoyed doing as a kid before selfies!
Rounding out the entertainment is a Dance Floor where holiday songs are playing a
Coca-Cola & Lounge for those 21 years old and older. There are also festive, seasonal food and drinks on sale.
