If you live in or near Woodstock, Georgia, you’ve probably been to Dixie Speedway for races or concerts. If you think you know what the Speedway looks like, you should see it now. It’s very merry and bright and definitely more colorful as Magic of Lights has transformed it into a fantastic drive through holiday themed light attraction!
The Magic of Lights will run now through January 4, 2025. Lighting up the Speedway with over 2 million holiday lights is a wonderful way to celebrate the holiday season!
On Mondays through Thursdays, it’s open from 6 pm to 9 pm. On Fridays through Sundays, it will be open from 6 pm to 10 pm. Beginning December 8, it will be open from 6 pm to 10 pm every night.
Since it is a drive through, you can enjoy these incredible light displays from the comfort and warmth of your own vehicle. It takes about 30 to 40 minutes to complete the experience.
Immerse yourself in the magic of the season as you see one dazzling light display after another. Multi-colored light displays will depict whimsical winter and holiday elements.
You can expect to see snowmen, candy canes, icicles, stockings and toy soldiers. One large Christmas tree after another will be adorned with colored lights. Your holly jolly journey will take you past giant reindeer, presents, stars, angels, Rudolph and, of course, Santa Claus.
There will be a larger than life Barbie holiday display. See a giant Bigfoot Monster Truck and Prehistoric Christmas’ gigantic dinosaur. Your favorite holiday characters and scenes will be brought to life by tens of thousands of colorful lights.
