I am a sucker for Disney parks and events, and I am also a sucker for Christmas events.  So I guess it is unsurprising I enjoyed Disney World’s newest Christmas event, Jollywood Nights.

But I really did enjoy my experience.  I especially loved the shows.  Disney Holidays in Hollywood is a wonderful variety show, and I loved the Nightmare Before Christmas sing-a-long.  I enjoyed the fireworks show.  You can read about all the entertainment, as well as other important event information like how to save on tickets, in our Jollywood Nights Guide.

But there’s another reason to visit that’s not just the entertainment.  And that is food and drinks.  We go into a full list of all the food and drinks offerings in our Jollywood Nights Food & Drinks Guide.

But what were our favorites?  Well, there are a lot of delicious treats and sweets to choose from.  But we came up with our best five.

1. Sandy Claws Hot Cocoa

Warm up at Jollywood Nights with the specialty drink Sandy Claws Hot Cocoa

There was more than one dish I could have put number one, but it felt fitting to put a treat so iconic to the holiday season.  And that is hot cocoa.  The hot cocoa comes in quite handy if you’re attending Jollywood Nights on a cold night, which believe it or not does happen sometimes in December in Orlando.  In fact, drinking hot cocoa is one of our Jollywood Night tips.

But you shouldn’t just order it to warm up.  It is a legitimately delicious hot cocoa.  In fact, I would go so far to say it was the best hot cocoa I have ever had.  The cherry whipped cream on the top of the drink was so good.  I even had a family member who doesn’t even like cherry that much love it.  It’s very good, and it is non-alcoholic so that means attendees of all ages can enjoy it.

2. PB&J Doughnut

The PB&J Doughnut is good, and honestly, just look at it.

It should come no surprise that something that looks this delicious is delicious!

The star of the meal is the peanut butter & jelly.  In fact, that is the dominant taste; every now and then you’ll taste the glazed doughnut.  There’s also not much of the crushed house-made salt & vinegar chips.

But it’s still something you’ll want, especially if you love PB&J sandwiches.  It’s like the ultimate treat/comfort food that will remind you of your childhood.

3. Mexican Hot Cocoa Cheesecake

I love cheesecake, but this was a wonderful twist on a traditional cheesecake.  It is a bit like cheesecake with a bit of spice.  The cinnamon and cocoa tastes were great as well.  I also loved the addition of marshmallows to the dessert.

4. Olive and Goat Cheese Flatbread

The goat cheese in this flatbread can in a word be described as heavenly.  The olives and cheese are the perfect combination.

Sometimes with flatbreads, I find the bread to be a little too hard, but luckily that was not the case here.  It is a great choice of an order.

5. S’mores Funnel Cake

Funnel cakes are quite synonymous with theme parks, so it is fitting this made this list.  There were multiple funnel cake options over at Epic Eats, but this was the most popular, at least when I was in line.

And for good reason.  It is very delicious.  It tasted like a combination of S’mores and funnel cakes, which of course I liked.  But I also liked the cinnamon cereal.  It gave it a crunch I liked.  Also, just like with the PB&J doughnut, it gives you memories of your childhood which I liked.

Best Alcoholic Drink

Now, you may have noticed no alcoholic drinks on this list.  I decided to make this its own separate category.  So if you are looking for something to drink with your snacks or just looking for a drink while you relax at the party, we recommend the Benvolio Pinot Grigio, which you can order at PizzeRizzo.

It’s about as good of a Pinot Grigio as you’re going to get, and that is high praise coming from us.
