Deciding where to eat in Hollywood Studios can be tricky.
If you’re on a family vacation at Disney World, you want to make sure it’s something that both kids and adults can enjoy.
And when you’re planning your day in advance – or while you’re at the theme park itself – it can be helpful to choose a dining option that’s close to some of the other attractions you want to ride.
The following is a list of the possible places to eat at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Different Parts of Disney’s Hollywood Studios
We’ve organized the list by location:
- Commissary Lane
- Echo Lake
- Grand Avenue
- Hollywood Boulevard
- Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge
- Sunset Boulevard
- Toy Story Land
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and Toy Story Land are distinct, highly themed “lands,” but some of the other areas you may not immediately recognize.
Commissary Lane is more of a smaller, in between area (adjacent to Hollywood Boulevard, Echo Lake, and Grand Avenue).
The Echo Lake are contains (you guessed it) a lake. You can see a large dinosaur on one side of the lake and a ship on the other.
Grand Avenue is home to the Muppet*Vision 3D show.
Hollywood Boulevard has the replica of Grauman’s Chinese Theatre (which houses the Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway ride).
And Sunset Boulevard is where you’ll find the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror.
Quick Service vs Table Service
In addition to location, the dining options are divided according to being Quick Service or Table Service.
Quick Service, as the name suggests, is a good option if you’re in more of a hurry. Sometimes you want to grab something quickly between rides – or you’re too hungry to sit and wait for a meal to be served. These are usually cafeteria or counter service restaurants or sometimes more like food stands or food trucks.
Depending on the location, you might choose to have your group order from more than one location and then sit together to enjoy your meal. This works particularly well at Sunset Boulevard, where you have several quick service options located close together.
And if you’re really in a hurry, you might choose to eat while walking through the park (this works best with more of a snack than a full entree).
On the other hand, sitting down for a Table Service meal can be a nice way to relax and slow down after a busy morning (or afternoon) at the parks. And sometimes it’s a nice break to be waited on!
Commissary Lane

ABC Commissary
This has been a favorite in the past of our family. Over the years, they’ve featured posters, video clips and memorabilia from various ABC television shows. While this has been scaled back a bit in recent years, it can still be enjoyable for TV fans.
Currently, the menu has an international slant, with such menu items as curry rice bowl with shrimp and pork carnitas tacos.
Table Service
Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant
In this fun themed restaurant, you’ll feel that you’re at a ‘50s drive-in movie. In fact, you get to enjoy a loop of clips from various sci-movies of the era while you eat. And the tables are designed to look like cars! There are also picnic tables located at the back of the restaurant. (If you can’t get a reservation, you may have luck stopping by the restaurant and asking if there is any available seating. However, there’s a good chance you will get one of the picnic tables, so keep this in mind if you have your heart set on eating in a “car”.)
There are numerous burgers on the menu, as well as Buffalo chicken salad, a turkey sandwich, and a couple of pasta options. For guests old enough to drink, there are numerous alcoholic beverage options. And for non-alcoholic beverages, in the past we’ve enjoyed The Meteor (soda in a souvenir cup with a fun glow cube).
Echo Lake
Quick Service
Backlot Express
There’s usually quite a bit of seating to be found (either outdoors in the shade or indoors) at Backlot Express. The menu consists of some standards (like burgers and chicken strips) as well as some slightly more unusual items (like a Cuban sandwich or Southwest salad).
Dockside Diner
You can walk up to this ship (or “tramp steamer”) in Echo Lake and order a shrimp salad roll, chipotle chicken salad roll, or smoked fish dip. There’s also beverages (alcoholic and otherwise) and a chocolate brownie on the menu.
The design of this quick service restaurant is meant to reflect that of California-Crazy architecture of the 1950s. This was a nationwide trend of attention-grabbing buildings meant to get passing drivers to stop for food or souvenirs. This especially took off in Southern California, where you might see a giant donut, teapot, animal, and all sorts of things. (If you’re interested in this aspect of American pop culture and architecture, you may enjoy this book about it.)
Epic Eats
While you can’t get a full meal here (unless your meal consists of desserts, which isn’t exactly the worst thing in the world!), you can definitely get some delicious treats. Most of the menu consists of variations of funnel cakes. This food stand is located very close to the Indiana Jones stunt show.
Table Service
50’s Prime Time Café
Want to feel like you’re eating in Mom’s kitchen… in the 1950s? You’re in luck!
At 50’s Prime Time Café, you can sit in vinyl chairs at a Formica table and enjoy home cooking – such as Mom’s Old-fashioned Pot Roast, Aunt Liz’s Golden Fried Chicken or Cousin Megan’s Traditional Meatloaf.
And while you eat, you can watch clips from popular primetime shows from around 1955 (in black and white, of course).
Keep in mind that the waiters and waitresses have been known to nag customers to “Finish every last bite” and “Take your elbows off the table” (all meant in good fun!).
Hollywood & Vine
If you like character dining, then consider a meal at Hollywood & Vine!
At breakfast, you can enjoy Disney Junior Play n’ Dine. You’ll be able to see a few of your favorite Disney Junior characters. The breakfast buffet includes classic favorites, like Mickey waffles, eggs benedict, and an omelet station. There are also some specialty offerings, like brioche french toast with banana’s fosters sauce, plant-based frittata, and salmon and bagel casserole.
For lunch and dinner, try Minnie’s Seasonal Dining. These are themed events that relate to upcoming holidays or seasons (for example, in October, the theme is Halloween). Minnie Mouse and a few of her friends will stop by, in seasonal attire (in October, they’re wearing Halloween costumes). This buffet is extensive and includes salad, fruit, multiple protein selections, side dishes, and desserts.

Whether it’s the Disney Junior or Minnie event, you’ll pay one set price (per person) for your meal.
Tune-In Lounge
In this 1950s themed lounge (after all, it’s adjacent to the 50’s Prime Time Café), you can relax and sip wine, beer, or a specialty cocktail. Those cocktails include Dad’s Electric Lemonade (consisting of Vodka, Blue Curaçao, Sweet-and-Sour, Sprite, and a Souvenir Glow Cube), as well as Patrón Platinum Margarita (Patrón Silver Tequila, Cointreau, Lime Juice, and Sweet-and-Sour).
In years past, you could order food from the 50’s Prime Time Café menu while inside the lounge. It remains to be seen whether ordering food will return.
Grand Avenue

PizzeRizzo
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to visit a restaurant run by Rizzo the Rat from the Muppets? Well, wonder no more! At PizzeRizzo, located near Muppet*Vision 3D, you can choose between a few pizza options, antipasto salad, a meatball sub and a plant-based sub. There is seating inside on the first and second floors as well as outside the restaurant.

BaseLine Tap House
This small brick building is home to a cheery, California-style pub. Appropriately, you can choose from a large selection of California beer as well as California wines. If you’re hungry, the menu features a few items defined as “small plates,” such as a Bavarian Pretzel with beer-cheese fondue and spicy mustard, and a coffee-rubbed rib-eye beef puff with olive salad. There’s outdoor seating on the terrace, as well as limited seating inside.
Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano
This casual Italian restaurant comes with a fun backstory.
As the story goes, a young girl from a small Sicilian village moved to Hollywood with dreams of becoming a star. After recreating her papa’s secret recipes for her starving actor friends, she realized that her true calling was actually cooking, not acting. This led her to open a restaurant in an empty backlot warehouse that had once held film equipment. Film industry insiders started frequenting the restaurant and dubbed her “Mama Melrose” after the area of Los Angeles with the same name.
As for the menu, you’ll find a number of pasta options, including with shrimp, chicken, fish or charred strip steak. There are a number of alcoholic beverages available, including Italian and Californian wines, draft beers and specialty cocktails.
Hollywood Boulevard

The Trolley Car Café
If you love Starbucks, the Trolley Car Café is for you. It’s basically a Starbucks, albeit one in a very cool building – a classic trolley car station! You won’t be able to get a full meal here, but it’s great for caffeine, snacks or breakfast sandwiches.

The Hollywood Brown Derby
This restaurant is an authentic replica of the famous Hollywood Brown Derby that first opened in the 1920s in Hollywood. Just as the original restaurant contained hundreds of celebrity drawings and caricatures, there are caricatures of famous people all over the walls. The entire place has an atmosphere of the glitz and glamour of the Golden Age of Hollywood.
Since the first Hollywood Brown Derby was the birthplace of the Cobb salad, it’s only fitting that it’s part of the menu at the Hollywood Studios location. It even follows the recipe of owner Bob Cobb, who reportedly hastily created the salad out of leftovers for theater owner and showman Sid Grauman. Other entrées on the menu include filet mignon steak Diane, Ora King salmon, seafood cioppino, Chicken à la King, and more.
As for desserts, you won’t want to miss the Grapefruit Cake, a Brown Derby original. Other options include crème brûlée and chocolate mocha cake.
The Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge
Adjacent to the Hollywood Brown Derby is the Lounge, where you can order from a menu that currently only includes drinks (including classics, wines, ales and beers).

Market
Stop by the Market for a snack, like chips, a banana or Jack-Jack’s Num Num Cookie. You can also get something to drink – options range from water to soda to a slushy to beer to cocktails.
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge

Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo
The setting of this restaurant is a working hangar bay. Chef Strono “Cookie” Tuggs (the Artiodac and former cook at Maz’s castle on Takodana) offers unusual, exotic fare. For example, entrees include Batuuan Beef Pot Roast, Endorian Fried Chicken Tip Yip, Smoked Kaadu Pork Ribs and Felucian Kefta and Hummus Garden Spread.
Both indoor and outdoor seating is available.
Kat Saka’s Kettle
While visiting Galaxy’s Edge, stop by Kat Saka’s Kettle for a delicious, colorful popcorn snack. Called Outpost Mix, the popcorn offers a blend of sweet and spicy flavors. You also have a choice of one other snack option, Buttered Blue Grains. And don’t forget to check out the theming, complete with displays of grains from all over the galaxy. After all, Kat Saka is a grain merchant.
Milk Stand
If you’ve ever wanted to drink blue milk like Luke Skywalker did in Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope (or green milk like he did in Star Wars: Episode VIII – The Last Jedi), now is your chance! You can order blue milk or green milk at the Milk Stand, served frozen. And if you’re 21 or older, there are also blue milk cooler and green milk cooler options. Note that the milk is actually a plant-based blend of rice and coconut milk.
Ronto Roasters
Ronto Roasters is a great option for pork lovers (although plant-based menu options are available). You can order a Ronto Wrap, which includes roasted pork, grilled pork sausage, tangy slaw, and peppercorn sauce, all wrapped in pita bread. There are also Kyryll Pork Rinds (pork rinds with a blend of seasonings, including cinnamon), Zuchii Wraps (one of the plant based items, featuring grilled zucchini), and Andoan Fruit with Muja Sauce (which includes cucumber, jicama, melon, pineapple, and dragon fruit).
The breakfast menu adds a few more possibilities, such as the Rondo Morning Wrap (similar to the all day wrap mentioned earlier, except with eggs and cheddar cheese instead of roasted pork and slaw).
And in case you’re wondering, ronto is a huge animal native to the planet Tatooine. You’ll be able to see it for yourself – there’s a droid constantly turning a mechanical spit to grill a large side of ronto.

Oga’s Cantina at the Walt Disney World Resort
At Oga’s Cantina, you can enjoy a unique Star Wars experience. This is a place for smugglers, bounty hunters, and all sorts of scoundrels to meet, drink & enjoy music (kind of like the Mos Eisley cantina in Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope, where Luke Skywalker and Han Solo first met).
Speaking of music, you may recognize the droid DJ, R-3X, from the original Star Tours ride – back then, he was known as Captain “Rex” RX-24.
In addition to the atmosphere and musical entertainment, you’ll have fun choosing from a number of drinks on the menu. In fact, the menu is nearly entirely all drinks (with only a couple of snack options). You can choose from both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with such perfectly themed names as Jedi Mind Trick, The Outer Rim, Jabba Juice and Carbon Freeze.
From the beginning, the seating has been very limited at the Cantina (it’s mainly standing room). The capacity is extremely limited as well – so much so that each party is limited to no more than 45 minutes inside. If you have a reservation, you’ll need to check in no earlier than 15 minutes prior to your reservation time with the Cast Member at the end of the line outside the restaurant.
Please note that you will be inside an enclosed space with low lighting and lots of activity. Also, be aware that smaller children may have trouble reaching the taller tables for standing guests, but children are allowed inside and can enjoy the non-alcoholic drinks.
Sunset Boulevard

Anaheim Produce
This quick service stand is a great place to get a variety of snacks. Options include a churro with chocolate sauce, a Mickey pretzel with cheese sauce, fresh fruit, chips, Mickey’s Premium Ice Cream Bar or Sandwich, and more.
Adults can also choose from several craft beers as well as a couple of frozen alcoholic beverage options (including a frozen margarita).
Catalina Eddie’s
Personal pizzas (cheese and pepperoni) and Caesar salad with chicken makes up the bulk of the menu at Catalina Eddie’s. The pizzas are not especially large, but if you’re not very hungry they could be split between a couple of people (or 2 pizzas for 3 people). You also get a Caesar salad (without chicken) with each pizza.
To add to your meal, you can choose a side of breadsticks (served with marinara) or a dessert (strawberry shortcake verrine). There are also a variety of beverage options, from sodas and juice to coffee and tea to a strawberry lemonade slushy to adult beverages (like frozen rum berry lemonade).
Fairfax Fare
The menu at Fairfax Fare is centered around hot dogs. The simplest option is the All-Beef Quarter-pound Hot Dog, which comes in a Brioche Butter Bun and with Pickled Vegetables. If you prefer your hot dog to be a little fancier, you can choose between the California BLTA Dog (the BLTA which stands for Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato & Avocado), the Truffle Bacon Macaroni & Cheese Hot Dog, and the Pretzel Dog.
If you’re looking for something plant-based, opt for the signature salad, the Chicago-style “Hot Dog” Salad. This romaine blend also includes a plant-based Bratwurst, sweet relish, mustard, house-made dill pickle, among other hot dog-related ingredients.
And adults can choose from a number of beers to accompany their hot dog (or hot dog salad).
Hollywood Scoops
As the name may suggest, Hollywood Scoops is a great place for ice cream lovers. Stick to the more traditional scoop, cone or ice cream Sundae, or order a brownie Sundae. There’s even a chocolate peanut butter explosion shake.
Available ice cream flavors include vanilla, strawberry, chocolate, butter pecan, cookies ‘n cream, orange sherbet, and mint chocolate chip.
KRNR The Rock Station
This food truck-like quick service option is a great place to grab a frozen lemonade, frozen Coca-Cola, or a float (either Coca-Cola or Barq’s Root Beer). You can also get a waffle cone (chocolate, vanilla, or swirl), potato chips, nacho cheese tortilla chips, or a chocolate chip cookie.
Guests 21 years of age and older can add a shot of Bacardi Superior Rum, Jack Daniel’s Whiskey or Tito’s Handmade Vodka to their frozen lemonade or Coke. Other adult beverages include Jack Daniel’s Whiskey with Coke, Truly Wild Berry Hard Seltzer, and Bud Light Lager.
Rosie’s All-American Café
Hot dogs and cheeseburgers make up most of this all American menu. Other entrées include chicken breast nuggets and a plant-based lobster roll.
You can also order Rosie’s All American Salad, which features mojo pulled pork, roasted sweet potatoes, queso fresco, crispy tajin tortillas strips, pomegranate pickled radish, romaine lettuce, and pumpkin seeds drizzled with a spicy and tangy Ancho-Ranch Dressing.
Beverage options include soda, beer, milk, juice, coffee, tea, hot cocoa, spiked punch, and a vanilla milkshake.
Toy Story Land

Woody’s Lunch Box
Toy Story fans will get a kick out of this whimsical restaurant experience.
The idea behind the theming is that Andy has turned his lunch box into a backyard walk-up window serving delicious food.
There’s also a smoked turkey sandwich, BBQ brisket melt, grilled three-cheese sandwich, and totchos (which stands for combination tater tots and nachos!).
Breakfast specialties include a breakfast bowl and a kids’ breakfast bowl; both are potato barrels covered with smoked brisket country gravy, scrambled eggs and a sprinkle of green onions. (The kids’ option is a smaller portion and also comes with a Cuties Mandarin and a drink.)
And at lunch, you can pick from one of the lunch box tarts (chocolate-hazelnut, raspberry or lemon-blueberry).

Roundup Rodeo BBQ
One of the newest restaurants at Disney World, Roundup Rodeo BBQ features a Western theme. But since it’s Toy Story, you’re not in the Wild West, you’re in Andy’s rodeo as one of his honorary toys! You’ll see images of some of the beloved Toy Story characters, such as a huge display of Jessie riding Trixie.
As for the food, the restaurant serves barbecue (as you may have guessed from the name), family style. Family style is somewhat like a buffet, but the food is brought to your table. And at Roundup Rodeo BBQ, you’ll need to make a few choices, like picking between a platter of house-smoked items (like beef brisket, BBQ chicken, and smoked ribs) and a platter of plant-based selections. Your table will also choose four out of eight possible sides (like potato salad, fried pickles, and baked beans). And each guest can pick one dessert out of five choices.
