El Conquistador Tucson, a Hilton Resort is an amazing resort that makes a great choice for a vacation.  We’ve rated it as one of the best luxury hotels in Tucson.

But you don’t have to just take our word for it.  It has, after all, been a AAA 4-Diamond resort for 36 consecutive years.  It was named the “Best Experiential Hotel” by Hotel Interactive Lodging Industry Elite Awards.  And it was also recognized as a Top 52 Hilton Hotel by Forbes.  So suffice it to say it is not just our opinion it is a great choice for a vacation.

And why wouldn’t so many people love this hotel?  El Conquistador has a wonderful location.  It is on the foothills of the Santa Catalina Mountains on more than 50 acres of high Sonoran Desert terrain.  You can get wonderful panoramic views here.

There’s a lot to do here, too.  They have dozens of weekly resort activities.  El Conquistador has 5 outdoor pools & 6 dining options.  They offer horseback riding and lessons.  They have championship golf and lighted tennis courts.  You can relax at the resort’s spa.  There are walking and hiking trails.  They even have their own Hummingbird & Butterfly Garden!  These are just some of the reasons why so many people love this resort.

So guests love visiting here any time of the year.  But perhaps you would love the hotel even more during the holiday season.

First of all, despite it being a holiday, the rates are actually very reasonable this time of year.  You can find a good rate for the hotel here.

But also they have great things planned for Hanukkah and Christmas.

Christmas Tree and Gingerbread  House

El Conquistador Tucson has wonderful holiday decorations.  In particular, they have a special Christmas Tree and Gingerbread House in the lobby that is particularly amazing.  It is always fun for guests to return each year to see what they’ll look like.

Hanukkah Happy Hour

El Conquistador Tucson is having its first-ever Hanukkah Happy Hour this year.  They are teaming up with Tucson Jewish Community Center to bring you this event.

It starts Tuesday, December 20th, 2022 at 5:00 PM.  There will be candle lighting, holiday trivia, and a Hanukkah story.  Then they’ll have a holiday game, dreidel, and free cookies from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM.   They’ll also be serving a special Hanukkah-inspired cocktail in Colibri Lounge.
