Looking for a great Christmas activity kids and adults can enjoy in Dallas or Fort Worth this year? Well, you are in for a treat.
Gift of Lights is a great event held at the Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth, Texas. It is open every night from November 23, 2023 through January 7, 2024. It is open from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM on Fridays and Saturdays. And then it is open from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Sundays through Thursdays.
It is a wonderful Christmas light drive-through event. You drive through the race track and see beautiful Christmas lights. It takes about forty-five minutes to an hour.
But that’s not all you get to enjoy at this event. Santa’s Village is open this season! Unfortunately, there will be no ice skating. But you can pay an extra $4 to participate in the train ride.
Also, Santa Claus himself is available for pictures at Santa’s Village! Which makes sense since, well, it is his village. He’ll be there every day until December 25th. Because he’ll need to get some much-deserved rest!
Food and drinks will also be available at Santa’s Village. Unfortunately for us adults, it will just be non-alcoholic drinks.
If you want to try to avoid lines at this event (and why wouldn’t you?) consider coming earlier rather than later. Also, weeknights typically are less crowded than nights during the weekend.
This is a wonderful, family-friendly experience you won’t want to miss.
