Yes, Magic of Lights is currently taking place at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California. It runs through December 31, 2025.
It takes place after the sun goes down, so the holiday lights will be the most magical. So you can visit between 5:30 PM and 9:00 PM on Sundays through Thursdays and 5:30 PM to 10:00 PM on Friday and Saturday.
It truly is a neat experience. You get to see some of your favorite holiday scenes and characters. But instead of just seeing pictures of them, you get to see them in a whole new way: through lights. They use the latest in LED technology and digital animations to make this happen. And you get to see all of this from your car!
But the fun doesn’t stop with the drive-through trail. After you have completed the trail, you can go inside at the Holiday Village Powered by IID. You can grab a seasonal treat or drink some hot chocolate if you are hungry or thirsty. There are great photo opportunities at the Holiday Village. Speaking of photo opportunities, Santa Claus will be there on select nights so you can get your photo with Santa. And if you haven’t bought your Christmas tree yet, you can do so at the Holiday Village!
A neat thing about the Magic of Lights event is that you get to pay per car rather than per person. So if you are in say a family of four or you want to go as a group of friends, this can save you money.
