Do you like holiday lights? Then I have the event for you! That event is the Maine Celebration of Lights!
The Maine Celebration of Lights is an event brought to you by the New Hampshire-native Fiesta Shows. It takes place at the Cumberland County Fairgrounds in the Portland, Maine area.
What it is is a drive-through holiday light show. This is wonderful because I probably don’t have to tell you that it can get quite cold in Maine during the winter. So this is a wonderful way to see beautiful Christmas lights while enjoying all the advantages of a heated vehicle.
And there are a lot of beautiful holiday lights you’ll see at the Celebration of Lights. We’re talking over 1 million LED lights spread out over 1 mile of roadway. There are animated scenes and Christmas displays that are over 50’ tall.
To add to the experience, you can turn your car radio to 107.3 FM. They’ll be playing holiday music that will synch perfectly with the holiday lights!
Maine Celebration of Lights is a holiday event that you won’t want to miss. And if you haven’t visited yet, don’t worry. There is still time. It is open Wednesday through Sunday through December 30, 2022. It starts at 5:00 PM and runs through 9:00 PM. So there is still plenty of time to visit.
