Rome, Italy is beautifully decorated for the holiday season. And a wonderful way to appreciate this gorgeous Rome holiday decor is with a double-decker bus tour. Big Bus Tours offers one of these tours at night, so you can take in all the beautiful holiday lights. You have wonderful 360-degree views from the top of the bus. And you can enjoy this tour at a discounted price here.
This tour is unlike a regular Big Bus Tour. It isn’t a hop-on, hop-off tour that is valid for 24 hours or 48 hours. Instead, it is a one-hour tour that is available on select dates this holiday season: December 20, 21, 23, 26, 27, 28, and 29. It will not be available on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day.
There are two different departure times. You can leave at 4:30 PM or 6:30 PM. The later time means you can see the holiday lights in the dark during the whole tour. The earlier time gives you a chance to see the sunset.
You’ll get to see iconic Rome destinations decked out for the holidays. This includes the Colosseum, Piazza Venezia, the Vatican, and more.
A live guide will be on the tour. They will tell you interesting stories and facts about Christmas traditions in Rome. You are also treated to delicious holiday treats during the ride!
Discount Voucher
You can get a discount voucher for the tour here. You’ll save €2.80 on your ticket. This is an automatic discount, too, so no promo code or coupon code will be needed.
Additional Tour Information
The bus departs from Big Bus Tours Stop #1 at the Termini Railway Station at Via Giolitti 32. You should arrive there thirty minutes before your arrival time. You will need to present your booking confirmation, which you can do by either printing it off or showing your mobile device to a staff member before you board the bus. Seats are given on a first-come, first-serve basis, so if you really want to get to sit on top of the bus you should get there early.
Also, if you do want to sit on the top, make sure you dress warmly. This is wintertime, after all.
