Looking for a fun, family-friendly Christmas event in the Dallas and Fort Worth area? Then you are going to love the Elf on the Shelf’s Magical Holiday Journey!
This is a relatively new holiday event. In fact, it just debuted in Los Angeles last year and enjoyed a successful, sold-out run.
So this year for the first time, they have decided to come to Arlington, Texas! It takes place at Choctaw Stadium (which was formerly Globe Life Park) on the Concourse Level. The Elf on a Shelf’s Magical Holiday Journey runs from November 18th, 2021, through January 2nd, 2022.
This event features an original story. The basic gist of it is that Christmas spirit has gotten low and Santa Claus’s sleigh’s compass has gotten out of control. So Scout Elf Tiny Tinkerman and the Scout Elves need your help to save Christmas! So you’ll shrink to elf-size (spoiler alert: this is all pretend) and go on a journey through beautiful, twinkling wonderlands to save Christmas.
As you can tell from the description, this is all very kid-friendly. It’s an outdoor event featuring:
- Gorgeous scenery
- Twinkling Tree Grove
- Magical Elf Play Photo Booths (where you can take an “elfie”)
- Santa’s Mailroom on-site
- Gift shopping
- Holiday treats
You also get to create your own magical keepsake!
So as I said, you can shop for gifts here. But you can also shop for souvenirs. Specialty merchandise is available on-site in the walk-through market section. This includes an exclusive & collectible mini Scout Elf Tiny Tinkerman figurine.
