This winter, Mayfield Park in Manchester will really come alive once the sun sets and day becomes night. Because that is when the Twilight Trail begins!
The Twilight Trail is an immersive light and sound show. It features over 50,000 lights. So it may be night, but it won’t be dark with the glow of the lights! These lights will be on display in over 6.5-acres of Mayfield Park. These lights even make up intricate light displays.
These lights are made even more special since they are set to music. And not just any music. It is set to a soundtrack by La Discotheque, Manchester’s iconic collective. You’ll also be introduced to DJ Kenny Dope’s disco heat mix.
Walking through the trail takes about thirty minutes. But the fun doesn’t stop there! There are food and drink vendors. Children even eat free at Freight Island (terms and conditions do apply, though).
So as you might imagine from kids eating free, this is a very children-friendly event. It is also dog-friendly as well! Additionally, this event is accessibility friendly. So the whole family should be able to have a lot of fun here.
