Did everyone have a great Star Wars Day, a.k.a May the Fourth Day? I know my family did! We were staying at the Art of Animation Resort and we boarded a Skyliner and celebrated the holiday at a fitting place: Hollywood Studios! Hollywood Studios, of course, is where you can find Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.
Hollywood Studios theme park is also where you can also find a lot of great Star Wars desserts this month. You see, in honor of Star Wars Day and all, Disney debuted a lot of great Star Wars-themed desserts. Some of them sadly were only available on May 4th and May 5th. But luckily a lot of them will still be available in May!
Our Favorite Star Wars Desserts
Let me start by telling you about my favorite Star Wars desserts you can find at the parks right now. I have to tell you about the Darth Vader Cupcake.
It is a chocolate cupcake with chocolate-peanut butter buttercream. The chocolate-peanut butter buttercream is so amazing and the best part of the cupcake! It reminds me of my favorite candy, Reese’s Pieces, but even better.
But that’s not all that is great about this cupcake. The cupcake is dipped in dark chocolate ganache and also has chocolate flakes on it. Oh, and obviously, it is topped with a chocolate Darth Vader.
The only negative is that it is a bit hard to get the cupcake out of the wrapper. But that is a very minor complaint. Otherwise, the whole cupcake is great. One of the best cupcakes, in my opinion, you’ll find at the Walt Disney World Resort, Star Wars-themed or otherwise. By the way, you can find this cupcake at Backlot Express.
Backlot Express is also where you can find my other favorite Star Wars dessert, Wookiee Cookie.
They are actually two oatmeal cookies that make a sandwich with vanilla cream inside. Then there is a milk chocolate sash on top.
When I first got the cookie, I worried it would be too hard. Luckily, that was not the case at all. It was soft and absolutely delicious. It was also a very nice-sized cookie. Two people can even split and still enjoy a nice dessert.
Other Star Wars Desserts
But these aren’t the only Star Wars-themed desserts you can find right now at Hollywood Studios.
There’s a Lightsaber Churro with chocolate sauce available at Grand Avenue and Anaheim Produce.
You can also get non-alcoholic Jettison Juice at the aforementioned Backlot Express along with ABC Commissary, PizzeRizzo, and Rosie’s All-American Café. It consists of Minute Maid Lemonade and watermelon and it is served with a glow cube.
Other Star Wars Desserts & Merchandise
But Hollywood Studios isn’t the only place at the Walt Disney World Resort where you can find Star Wars-themed desserts.
