It shouldn’t be a surprise to regular readers of this blog that I love the festivals at Epcot theme park at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida. It also should come as no surprise that I love the food and drinks you can get at the festival.
And this year during the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival, I want to tell you about all the best (and worst) selections out there. I’ve already reviewed a number of the Outdoor Kitchens you can find throughout Epcot. This includes:
- Bauernmarkt in the Germay Pavilion
- Fleur de Lys in the France Pavilion
- Northern Bloom in the Canadian Pavilion
- La Isla Fresca
- Farmer’s Feast: Springtime
- Brunchcot
And now I want to talk about the Outdoor Kitchen in the Italian Pavilion: Primavera Kitchen!
The location in the Italian Pavilion is great, too. There’s plenty of seating with umbrellas to keep you cool (which is good, because it is hot this time of year in Florida!).
And you can enjoy the beautiful Italian Pavilion as well as the flowers up for the Flower and Garden Festival, including one of my favorite topiaries, the one of Lady and the Tramp.

Menu Review
So what did we think of the food and drinks here?
Well, let me begin with presentation.
As you can see, they do a neat thing to tie into the flower and garden theme that I hadn’t noticed at other booths throughout the festival. And that is how they make the food look like it is in a plant. It is a really neat visual concept, though I have to admit it does make eating the dessert look a little gross.
But how did it taste? Well, let me start with that dessert, the Budino alle Nocciole.
Despite my hesitations on the look, well, I soon forgot all about that because it was amazing. It was simply one of the best puddings I’ve had like…ever. It seriously will make it hard for me to eat regular pudding after that. The bar has been set that high. The pudding itself was great as were the cookie crumbles, but the best bites were when you ate the pudding with the cookie crumbles. That was just so delicious.
We also really liked the Caesar con Gamberett.
We liked the whole dish: the dressing, the croutons, and especially the shrimp. At the beginning, it seemed like there weren’t a lot of shrimp but there actually were a lot of shrimp at the bottom. The dish had a rich taste without being heavy and was sweet without being overly sweet.
So those were our two favorite dishes. Our favorite drink was the Prosecco.
Now, Prosecco is not a regular wine of my family, but we found it to be delicious. We highly recommend it.
