On November 23, 2023, Fairmont Kea Lani will be blending traditional Thanksgiving dishes with Hawaiian culture in an island style feast.
You can celebrate Thanksgiving oceanfront with the upcoming event on the Polo Lawn. You can listen to the whisper of the nearby gentle waves and the island of Maui makes a picturesque backdrop.
This will be happening on Thanksgiving Day from 5 pm to 8:30 pm. Beneath the romantic glow of the Hawaiian moon, guests can enjoy a sumptuous feast. The buffet will be carefully crafted to give the guests traditional Thanksgiving dishes with a touch of local flavors and flair.
The heart of the feast is the traditional Hawaiian imu. That is a type of underground oven where a pig is slowly cooked until it’s perfect. This ancient cooking method is giving a shout out to the rich cultural heritage of Hawaii. It provides a unique centerpiece to the Thanksgiving celebration.
In addition to the imu, there will be carving stations that will be featuring a roasted free range turkey and one with Kula honey glazed ham, honoring the traditional Thanksgiving dinner.
The buffet will continue with an abundance of delectable dishes, some traditional and some with an island flair. The decadent dessert station is laden with an array of sweet treats. It beckons one and all to indulge in a diverse journey of flavors.
As you dine, you can enjoy live entertainment that celebrates the cultures of Hawaii and Polynesia. There will be holiday refreshments for adults and keiki (children).
