Do you want to stay at a hotel in Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida where you can walk out of your hotel room and see the monorail wiz by? Then you must stay at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. There is literally no other hotel in Disney World like it. The monorail runs right through the hotel, which you can use to get you to Magic Kingdom or to take a monorail to the ticket & transportation center, where you can then take a monorail to EPCOT. It’s even close enough to Magic Kingdom to walk there. In addition to the monorail, Contemporary has spacious rooms and great dining options (including quick service & character buffet dining where you can see the monorail go by and fine dining where you can see the fireworks from Magic Kingdom!).
So you probably want to know how to get the “cheapest” rates at the Contemporary Resort (I put cheapest in quotation marks as I don’t think you could truly qualify a Disney Deluxe Resort as being “cheap”). The answer is actually quite simple: Undercover Tourist. Seriously, I find better prices for Contemporary on Undercover Tourist than I can using my passholder discount through Disney’s website. You can even get an additional $55 off your stay if you stay a minimum of 4 nights at Contemporary & book a 3 or 4 day park hopper option through Undercover Tourist. But even if you want to stay a different amount of time or you already have tickets, then still book through Undercover Tourist, it’s the best way to get a low price for your stay.
And if you do want to stay for a shorter time and want to save money on tickets, here is a comparison of the best ways to save money on Disney World theme park tickets. Also, if you want to the Disney water parks during your stay, here’s how to save money on Disney water parks. And finally, if you want to save money on dining during your Disney World trip, here is how to save money on Disney World dining.
