Disney’s Beach Club is one of my family’s favorite Disney World hotels. We’ve stayed there numerous times when on our Orlando, Florida trips. So today I will give you ten different reasons why we love staying at this onsite WDW hotel.
Now, I will say one of those reasons is not a cheap price. Because the truth is, Disney’s Beach Club is one of the more expensive Disney World hotels. Which is not surprising, given all the reasons I’m about to tell you on why it’s such a great hotel.
But there are ways you can afford to stay here. In fact, we have a list of ways you can save money at Beach Club. These hacks are how my family has afforded a stay there.
So if you use our tips and are able to stay here I recommend it, for the following ten reasons:
1Location
Beach Club has one of the best locations of all Disney hotels. You can easily walk to a special entrance of EPCOT at the back of the World Showcase (the International Gateway).
This is great because not only does that mean you can avoid using the bus. But typically, that entrance is much less crowded than the front of the park, so it’s much quicker getting through bag check.
Additionally, you can take a boat to that same entrance. So if you don’t want to walk, you can use the boat dock right outside the hotel.
You can also take a boat to Hollywood Studios. You can also walk to Hollywood Studios, which I have done before, but I will warn you that this walk is a bit long, so you may find taking the boat is a bit easier.
There is also another way to visit Hollywood Studios, and that is to take the Skyliner. The Skyliner is in between the Beach Club and the Epcot World Showcase Entrance. You can take a Skyliner to Disney’s Carribean Beach Resort and from there take a Skyliner to Hollywood Studios. That might sound complicated, but it really isn’t; we discuss the Skyliner here.
But whether you decide to walk, take the boat, or take the Skyliner, it’s nice to not have to mess with the bus during your whole trip. You still need a bus to get to Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, and the waterparks, but at least for Epcot and Hollywood Studios, Beach Club is a wonderful location.
2Best Pool at Disney World
Disney’s Beach Club shares a pool with Disney’s Yacht Club, and in my opinion, this is the best pool complex in all of Walt Disney World. This is in large part because it is the only pool at the Walt Disney World Resort hotels that has a lazy river! It also has a really awesome ship water slide. If you love going to the pools during a Disney world trip, then you’ll absolutely love staying at the Beach Club.

3The beach
In addition to the amazing pool, Disney’s beach club has an actual “beach” which consists of a lot of sand and beach chairs and even a swing you can enjoy.
It is a really great place to relax and look out at Crescent Lake and Disney’s Boardwalk Resort, which is on the other side of Crescent Lake.
And you can actually watch the fireworks from EPCOT from one of the chairs at the beach.
Personally, I think this beats having to stand in a crowded space watching them!
We did this last time we stayed at the Beach Club. We relaxed on chairs and talked. Then, we watched the fireworks. Then we just walked back to our room. It was great!
4Lots of dining options
The beach club is also home to a lot of great dining options. You can get quick service items inside the hotel (I really like the Mickey waffles in the morning).
There is also a poolside grill, Hurricane Hanna’s Waterside Bar and Grill. I really like the salads from there.
I also really loved going to Beaches & Cream Soda Shop that has an old-fashioned soda shop theme. Their desserts are so delicious, but the food is good, too.
The Yacht Club is connected through the lobby and you can enjoy character dining at Cape May Cafe at Ale & Compass Restaurant or Yachtsman Steakhouse.
5Beautiful theming
I really love the New England beach theming of the Beach Club. My dad is from Maine, so I visited there a lot as a kid and the theming is so spot on it really made me feel like I was back there – just with Florida warm weather, which I prefer!
6Beautiful interior
The decorations inside the hotel not only perfectly fit the theming, but they also are beautiful. They give off an upscale feel yet at the same time a cozy feeling like you’re at home.
7Beautiful exterior
The outside of Beach Club is absolutely gorgeous. The color schemes they use are so beautiful, and the landscaping is great. And I really love the fountain in front of the hotel.
8Beautiful spacious rooms
Since the inside & outside of the hotel are so beautiful, it should come as no surprise that the rooms are gorgeous, too! They are spacious as well with comfortable beds.
9Size of resort
The hotel isn’t as large as some Disney resorts (like Old Key West, Coronado Springs or Saratoga Springs) and that can be a huge advantage because it means you don’t have to worry about getting lost as much. It also means that no matter where your rooms is, you won’t have to walk far if you want to go to the lobby or dining area.
10Great for all ages
One great thing about this hotel is because it is so beautiful and luxurious it’s a wonderful stay for adults – plus, it’s a quick walk to the World Showcase where you can drink around the world (and this hotel is really great during the Food & Wine Festival), so it goes without saying that this a great hotel for adults to choose. Plus, there are a lot of great adult drink options by the pool.
But at the same time, since the hotel has the best pool complex, has an arcade, character dining and a beach area where kids can play in the sand, you can be sure your child will love staying there, too. And that makes it a great choice no matter how old the people in your party are.
