My family spent this Memorial Day weekend in 2021 vacationing in Williamsburg, Virginia. You may remember this from all the reviews I wrote of the great food we ate during our trip. Blue Talon Bistro, Mama Steve’s Pancake House, Smokey Griddle, Squire’s Grille…well you get the point. Anyway, since we were in Williamsburg, of course we visited Busch Gardens. And of course, we had a wonderful time. But one special thing that happened that weekend was the fireworks!
‘This was really fun for my family because we hadn’t seen live fireworks since March 2020 (and I think you can probably figure out why). I am glad this was my first time seeing fireworks again because it was well worth the wait! It is a wonderful fireworks show set to patriotic music.
As we are prone to do, we took a video of the fireworks to show you guys:
We took this video at the Festa Italia section of Busch Gardens. Specifically, we were in front of the 3 Point Challenge basketball attraction. It was a great place to see the fireworks.
Now, I know this video is going to make you, too, want to see fireworks at Busch Gardens Williamsburg. And the good news is you can this summer! Fireworks will occur every night during the Summer Nights event at Busch Gardens!
Summer Nights
Now what is Summer Nights? Well, it is an event that takes place at Busch Gardens Williamsburg every night from June 25, 2021, to July 29, 2021.
And fireworks aren’t the only reason you should attend this event! Other great parts of this event include:
- Open-air block parties in England, France & Germany with DJs, dancing, seasonal eats, and special entertainment.
- Celtic Fyre, the fan-favorite Irish step dance show at Abbey Stone Theatre in Ireland
- SPARK! a nighttime party at the Royal Palace Theatre in France. This is a high-energy laser lights showstopper, complete with stunning pyrotechnics, party starters & a pulse-pounding electric dance mix.
- New summer cocktails & non-alcoholic drinks
