Did you check out Electric Ocean at SeaWorld San Antonio last weekend during its debut? If not, no worries! You have most of the rest of the summer to check out this red-hot event. It will run through August 7, 2022.
And it’s definitely something you’re going to want to check out. Because it is a wonderful event. I’ll tell you about all the wonderful parts of this event. And then I’ll tell you how to save money on tickets!
Free Beer
This alone will make you want to go to Electric Ocean, right? So if you are a pass member and you are over the age of 21 years old, you can get one free seven-ounce beer once per day at the Lone Star Lakeside Bar.
I am a pass member, by the way, and I love it. I feel like the pass more than pays for itself if you visit even just say a couple of days. You get so many extra benefits with a pass, like a discount on food, merchandise, and my favorite, free parking. And Electric Ocean is included in your admission with all SeaWorld passes and tickets.

HydroPower: Xtreme FX
Good news: HydroPower: Xtreme FX is back this summer! HydroPower Xtreme FX is high powered water ski stunt show. It even features a live rock band and glittering pyrotechnics.
HydroPower: Xtreme FX Fireworks Finale
But the water ski stunt show isn’t all! HydroPower: Xtreme FX has an amazing fireworks finale built into the show! It features lasers, pyrotechnics, and, of course, fireworks.
To get the best seat for this show, click here to book reserved show seating. Just make sure you arrive at Bayside Stadium at least thirty minutes prior to showtime.
Electric Ocean Concert Series presented by Coca-Cola
Another exciting part of SeaWorld San Antonio’s summer event is the live concerts at Nautilus Ampitheater held each Saturday from June 4, 2022, through July 30, 2022.
They have a great lineup this year:

- Phillip Phillips: June 18th
- Zach Williams: June 25th
- A Tribute to Selena: July 2nd-4th
- Newsboys: July 9th
- Easton Corbin: July 16th
- Maddie & Tae: July 23rd

Chill Out Bar
I don’t think I have to tell you how hot it can get in Texas in the summer. Luckily, there is a place you can cool off during Electric Ocean. The Chill Out Bar is a 50-degree club complete with a live DJ. There, you can enjoy frozen treats and glow merchandise.
Orca Encounter at Night
A great thing about Electric Ocean is that the theme park is open in the nighttime. And that means you can enjoy an orca presentation at night. It’s really a remarkable thing seeing these beautiful creatures up against the night sky. So I highly recommend going to their latest performance at some point during your trip.
Elmo Rocks Show
Elmo Rocks Show is a Sesame-Street-themed show that takes place on select dates of the Electric Ocean event. The basic plotline of the show is that Elmo and his friends Abby Cadabby, Zoe, Bert, Ernie, and Cookie Monster decide to form their own rock ‘n’ roll band, appropriately named The Rockin’ Elmo Band. You get to see them along their rock ‘n’ roll journey, including their auditions and rehearsals.
Sesame Street Party Parade
Even as an adult, I really love the Sesame Street parades at SeaWorld. They have great floats, high-energy music, and wonderful performers who dance, jump rope, and hula hoop. This parade is particularly special for young children, too. So you’ll be happy to know you can check out this parade at Electric Ocean.
Light Bright Wall
The Light Bright Wall is located near the games center at SeaWorld San Antonio. It will like it is just out of a dream from your childhood.
