Times & Dates
This event takes place on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, from September 11, 2026 through November 1, 2026. The event begins at 7:00 PM.
Haunted Houses
Haunted houses are like mazes you have to find a way out of. There are five haunted houses this year at SeaWorld Howl-O-Scream San Antonio.
I Know What You Did Last Summer: The Final Catch
So full disclosure, I Know What You Did Last Summer is one of my favorite horror movies. So I am really excited this year’s Howl-O-Scream at SeaWorld San Antonio includes a haunted house themed to IKWYDLS! If you haven’t seen the movie yet, I recommend it. You’ll still enjoy the haunted house without seeing it, but it will make it more fun if you have seen it. Because in this haunted house, you’ll get to relive the fateful tale of (spoiler alert!) the four teens who dumped their victim’s body in the sea – only to see him return a year later.
Dis-Assembly Line
Here is a returning favorite haunted house at Howl-O-Scream San Antonio!
You find yourself at a gruesome assembly line. Can you escape and warn others? Or will you be the machine’s latest victim?
The Swamp at Blackwater Bayou
The Voodoo host is back this year in this returning favorite haunted house – and he’s brought his evil minions with him.
Witch of the Woods
Witch of the Woods is a brand new haunted house! The premise centers around (and I think the title of this haunted house really gives this away) a witch who lives deep into the woods. And if this witch just stayed in the woods and minded her business, maybe everything would be okay. But instead, she is luring unsuspecting victims into her lair. Very few who have entered have ever escaped. Do you think you could?
Dead Wreckoning
Dead Wreckoning is another brand new haunted house. This premise centers on a doomed pirate ship in its final hours. Can you escape the pirates’ fate, or are you destined for eternal disaster, too?
TERROR-tories
TERROR-tories are areas throughout the park where a scary creature might jump out and scare you. There are eight TERROR-tories this year at Howl-O-Scream, and one of them is new!
Terror Through Time
Terror Through Time is the one brand new TERROR-tory this year.
In honor Howl-O-Scream’s 25th anniversary, legends of Halloween’s past have been unleashed from the vault. What could possibly go wrong?
Water’s Edge
The premise here is screams in the night have woken up the Sirens from the depths of the Water’s Edge. Now they want revenge on the trespassers.
Nightmare Midway
Nightmare Midway is a returning favorite TERROR-tory for 2026. This is a carnival that doesn’t give you the warm fuzzies. In fact, these are the clowns from your nightmares!
The SINdustry District
The SINdustry District is returning favorite TERROR-tory that is also not your typical TERROR-tory. That is because it is also a place to enjoy a drink and watch amazing acrobats perform.
Blackwater Bayou
The creatures and mystical powers of this TERROR-tory are back. This might sound fun but here’s the thing. Once you enter, you may never leave!
Ripper Row
Ripper Row is another returning TERROR-tory. This one is dedicated to one of the most well-known killers of all time.
Till Death Do Us Party
In this TERROR-tory, death isn’t the end of the party. No, it certainly isn’t…

Shows & Live Performances
There are three shows this year at Howl-O-Scream. The show I am most excited for is the brand new one, Shamu Rocks: Moonlight Mayhem. It’s a show a high-energy nighttime spectacular starring everyone’s favorite killer whales.
Roller Coasters in the Dark
You may have done the fun roller coasters at SeaWorld San Antonio during the day. But have you ever done them at night? It’s a whole new experience when you do it at night.
