Football is back and school is back in. So it’s that time of year we can get excited for fall leaves, Halloween – and corn mazes!
If you are looking for a corn maze to visit in Minnesota, then check out Fresh Acres Farm. Fresh Acres is a farm in Monticello, MN. It is about thirty minutes from both Minneapolis & St Cloud. So it is convenient for many Minnesota families.
It is the sixth anniversary of Fresh Acres Farm’s first-ever corn maze. And speaking of anniversaries, it is the fiftieth anniversary of the classic book, Charlotte’s Web. This year’s corn maze design was created to celebrate this anniversary!
But visiting there is more than just a visit to a corn maze. They also have a lot of other activities families can enjoy.
There is a petting zoo for animal lovers. You can even feed some of the farm’s animals. Guests can learn more about farmers’ work and their traditions.
Guests can also climb on and through tires. They also converted a real combine into a fun fall attraction. People of all ages can “drive” the combine. Then they can take a slide back down!
But that’s not all. There are also inflatables, a bale mountain, giant Jenga & tic-tac-toe games, a corn pit, and even a corn cannon. There are also vendors that sell food and other goods. And some weekends will even have additional activities.
Speaking of weekends, it starts this weekend, on Saturday, September 9, 2023. It then runs on weekends through October 30th, 2023. This year, it is even open on Fridays from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. It will also be open for MEA break on Thursday, October 19th, 2023, and Friday, October 20th, 2023.
