If you’re looking for a place to celebrate the 4th of July in New Jersey, Wildwood should be on your short list. The entire city will be decked out in red, white and blue in its annual patriotic make over. Festivities start up with the North Wildwood Independence Day Family Parade at 9th and Atlantic Avenues. The parade will begin at 9 am and will wind its way north to 1st and Surf Avenues. You’ll see colorful floats, marching bands playing patriotic music, dance teams, colorfully dressed characters and more. The celebratory mood is contagious.

This will be followed by a patriotic Pooch Parade.

Mudhen Brewery will be having an Independence Day Party. Join them for the tapping of their annual 4th of July beer, which is their Imperial IPA with resin hop aroma and flavor. Grab a glass and celebrate. Derek Crider Band will be performing from 5 pm to 9 pm. You can also play Corn Hole, Tiki Toss, Put Put and more.

Enjoy fun in the sun with a day at the beach. The carnival like atmosphere at the Boardwalk adds to the excitement of the day.

Downtown Wildwood July 4th Party

There’s a big dance party for the 4th of July in downtown Wildwood. This is happening in Byrne Plaza from 7 pm to 10 pm. Don your brightest red, white and blue. If you need help with that, check out these creations for women, these clothes for men, this clothing for children, and hats.

Be sure to bring your dancing shoes as The Big House Band will be there and they know how to keep a party going. Also, be sure to bring a lawn chair or blanket and stay for the fireworks which are visible from Byrne Plaza.

The fireworks are synchronized to patriotic music playing at the Wildwoods Boardwalk sound system. The bursts of color will explode in the night sky to the music of John Phillips Sousa! These fireworks will definitely be a highlight of your summer.
