Looking to add an interactive, fun addition to your trip to Universal Studios Hollywood? How about trying one of the escape rooms at Escapology at Universal Hollywood Citywalk? We want to talk about these escape rooms…and tell you how you can save money on a ticket!
But first, let’s talk about where you can find these escape rooms. Universal Hollywood Citywalk is a shopping, dining, and entertainment district right next to Universal Studios Hollywood theme park. But back to Universal Hollywood Citywalk. It is home to an Escapology location with seven different escape rooms. Now this experience does cost money, and I will tell you how you can save money on this.
Escape Rooms
But first, let me tell you a bit about the escape rooms you can choose from and what their premises/storylines are:
- Batman: The Dark Knight Challenge – You’ve been chosen to be part of Batman’s new Gotham City Guardian program. Your training mission is to stop a countdown device simulating a chemical leak – and you’ll need to do it within an hour
- Scooby-Doo and the Spooky Castle Adventure – Baroness Richman has disappeared. Monsters are attacking people in Crystal Cove. So, things aren’t going well. Now, you’re locked in the Spooky Castle and you’ll need to solve clues (with the help of Mystery Inc., of course) to stop the haunting.
- A Pirate’s Curse – Captain Goldbeard’s crew is trapped on a cursed treasure ship called the Soul Catcher. Now you have an hour to break the curse, uncover the hidden treasure, and escape – or less you’ll be the next eternal prisoner.
- Haunted House – You are the last descendant of the Mulberry family, and now you’re in the Mulberry Manor, your family’s estate that was forever scarred by a tragic 1871 massacre. Now you must navigate the eerie manor and escape before you become the next victim.
- Mansion Murder – In this escape room, you take on the character of Robert Montgomerie, the heir to the Kildermorie Estate. Your grandfather has just been murdered and your family suspects you are the killer. Can you uncover the clues and prove your innocence in time?
- 7 Deadly Sins – A seriously messed up minister at Crickley Church has cursed children and buried himself in a hidden crypt. Now, it’s your mission to find the crypt and dagger and destroy him to break the curse.
- Lost City – You’re in a mysterious temple in the jungle in an effort to find uncover explorer Archibald Tucker’s lost journal – as well as rare treasure. The only problem? Spirits are guarding the temple, so you have just sixty minutes to prove your worth to the spirits.
