Learn more about Singapore’s most iconic homegrown beer brand, Tiger Beer, in a tour of Tiger Brewery.
This is a one-day tour. It begins when you meet up with your guide and group at the brewery.
Next, you’ll head to to the Visitor Center. Here, you’ll learn about how Tiger Beer’s history. You’ll learn how it found its way overseas and became so famous worldwide over the past 80 years.
The next part of your takes place in the Brew House. You’ll see every step and all the ingredients required for a batch of Tiger Beer. See water, hops, malt, and yeast undergo milling, boiling, mashing, and fermentation before they’re stored and filtered. You’ll learn interesting facts about the brewing process. Like did you know it takes more than 500 hours for every batch?
The next part of the tour takes place at the Packaging Gallery. This is where you get an up-close view of how Tiger Beers are individually packed and set up for distribution.
You also get to observe a beer-tapping demonstration. And then you can try your hand at tapping your very own pint of beer!
Towards the end of the tour, you’ll stop by Tiger Tavern. This is the last stop on the tour. Tiger Tavern is a retro-style bar decorated in wood and leather. You can try an assortment of some of the best and freshest beer in the world at Tiger Tavern. This includes ABC, Archipelago Brewery, Anchor, Baron’s Strong Brew, Heineken, Guinness, and, of course, Tiger.
Oh, and don’t forget to stop by the Tiger Den to purchase some great souvenirs like t-shirts, the Tiger Beer shuttle, and even a limited-edition Tiger figurine!
