It’s fun to go to an Ottawa Senators hockey game. Not only do you get to watch some great NHL hockey, but the Senators are always doing extra things to make sure you have a lot of fun at the games. For example, in the past they’ve had a Country Night with live country music.
Another great theme night the Ottawa Senators have coming up is Star Wars Night! Star Wars Night takes place at Canadian Tire Centre on Saturday, January 13, 2024. And I suppose I should really say Star Wars Day rather than Star Wars Night because the game is at 4:00 PM that day. The Ottawa Senators will take on the visiting San Jose Sharks
in what should be a great NHL hockey game.
But not only will you get great hockey, but you’ll also get Stars Wars-themed festivities. Popular Star Wars characters will be at the Canadian Tire Centre so you could get a picture with them – and even get their autograph.
Oh, and I almost forgot one of the best parts! The first 7,000 fans in attendance will get a free lightsaber! So you will definitely want to arrive to the game early.

What to Wear
Now that you have a ticket and know you’re going to the game, it’s time to pick out what to wear to the game.
One way to get into the spirit of the game is by wearing a Star Wars costume to the game. There are some great Star Wars costumes here. And the Ottawa Senators’ Star Wars Night is the perfect excuse to buy another Star Wars costume if you already have one!
