When I was a kid, at the top of my Christmas wish list every year were Barbie Dolls. I will always have a soft spot in my heart for Barbie.
If you are like me, then I think you will love the World of Barbie exhibit that’s currently in the Toronto area. It is located at 199 Rathburn Road West in Mississauga, Ontario, just west of Square One Shopping Centre. And as the name implies, it celebrates all things Barbie!
It is an immersive exhibit will you will truly feel as if you are living in the world of Barbie. You’ll get to actually visit her iconic Dreamhouse and her full-size camper van, which was built by the famous West Coast Customs. You’ll also get to travel to intergalactic destinations via the Barbie Interstellar Airways shuttle. And you can get inside her recording studio.
But you’ll also get to see and enjoy six decades of Barbie dolls and accessories. It is a wonderful walk down memory lane for all of us Barbie fans. It is also a wonderful photo opportunity!
The whole experience lasts about an hour. The exhibit will be running through January 8, 2023. World of Barbie is open on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 12:00 PM to 6:30 PM, Saturday from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and Sunday from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM. It’s not open on Mondays and Tuesdays.
