Fire on the Lake
On Friday, September 20, 2024, from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm, the festival is hosting Fire on the Lake. This will be a showcase of the South’s most celebrated chefs, pitmasters and grill masters. You’ll receive a souvenir glass which you can use for unlimited beverage tastings. There will be a wide variety of culinary creations, from the freshest Louisiana seafood to select meats. You can also enjoy vegetarian options. You’ll have delectable grilled, smoked and roasted gourmet tasting bites.
The entertainment will be provided by Horace Trahan and the Ossun Express. They are a world renowned Cajun and Zydeco music group.

Grand Tasting
The Grand Tasting will happening on Saturday, September 21, 2024, from 4 pm to 7 pm. You’ll receive a souvenir glass for unlimited beverage tastings from hundreds of wines, beer and spirits. There will also be unlimited tastings of food from some of Louisiana’s best chefs. This will take place outdoors by Lake Charles along the bord du Lac,
Louisiana’s best party band, the Flamethrowers will be providing the entertainment.
There will be Cooking Demonstrations. Celebrity chef Jernard Wells will give a demonstration from 4:15 pm to 5 pm. He will be followed by Executive Chef Amanda Cusey from The Terrace at Lake Area Adventures.
From 5:15 p, to 7 pm, Executive Chef Paul Fehribach will give a cooking demonstration.
