Wicklow Christmas Market
First and foremost, this is a Christmas market. And it is a great Christmas market. They have forty craft stalls so it is the perfect place to go to find that unique, one-of-a-kind gift. Not only that, but there are food stalls, too. So it would be a great time to try some Christmas cookies and mulled wine!
But that’s not all. They also have a covered entertainment area. There you can enjoy live music, stilt walkers, puppet performances, and more.
And the exciting there here is that admission to the Wicklow Christmas Entertainment is completely free! So you can just come and have fun!
Wicklow Christmas Market Santa Express
But that’s not all! Wicklow Christmas Market also gives you a really neat opportunity to meet Santa Claus himself! In order to get to the North Pole, you’ll be taking a train, The Santa Express! Your train conductor will be Oribel, Santa’s fun yet mischievous elf.
You won’t just be meeting Santa on this trip, either. Mrs. Claus will be there, too, sharing her favorite Christmas story and providing treats to visitors.
You also get to visit Santa’s Workshop. You can help elves create wonderful gifts in the workshop. And you can stop by Santa’s official postbox so your child can send their letter to Santa.
But you don’t have to just send a letter to Santa. Because you’ll get to see him yourself! You can tell Santa what you want for Christmas then!

Eco Alpine Skate Trail
The last experience is something that is perfect for the winter season, and that is ice skating! They have a brand-new, 300-metre open-air Eco Alpine Skate Trail. You’ll be able to enjoy amazing views of Wicklow Town and its surroundings while you enjoy skating. It can be a great experience for you to have with family or friends – or a very romantic experience with a date!
