Looking for something fun for your children to do during Christmas break? Then I think it’s time to head to the largest indoor Christmas funfair in the United Kingdom! You can visit two different locations: Manchester or Birmingham.
I’m going to tell you about each one. And then I’ll tell you how to save money on a ticket!
Manchester Winter Funland
The Manchester location is at the BEC Arena, which is about five minutes from the Trafford Centre. The event started back on 17th December 2023. It runs through 1st January 2024.
This is an event that is aimed towards younger children, so around age nine and younger. As such, they have fun activities appropriate for those ages, so if you have older children this may not interest them.
But if you have younger children, this is perfect. There are rides but only tamer, non-thrillseeker rides. You and your family can compete against each other playing games. There is a roller rink where you can skate. There is even a hilarious Christmas Circus!
And what is a good winter carnival without carnival food? There’s pizza, popcorn, sandwiches, hot dogs, chips, candy, and more.

The Birmingham location also has rides and a festival circus. They have a gigantic ice rink, where kids can skate on their own or skate with the help of one of their penguins.
You can also enjoy an extreme motorbike show at this location! Father Christmas also appears here.
This location has a great Christmas market feeling with food and drink vendors.
