IndiaFest Milwaukee has become a Wisconsin tradition. For the past nine years, it’s been held in August. The goal of IndiaFest Milwaukee is to promote diversity, inclusion and culture as well as bringing communities together.

India’s tricolor flag will be raised and honored. Called the Tricolor, it has horizontal stripes of

  • India saffron representing courage and sacrifice
  • White representing peace and truth
  • India green representing faith and chivalry

The Ashoka Chakra, a 24 spoke wheel in navy blue, is at its center.
