Taste of Greektown is returning to Chicago’s West Loop for its 36th year. It will be happening at Halsted Street and Van Buren Street on August 28, 29 and 30, 2026.  Halsted Street has been the heart of the Greek restaurant scene for several decades so it is the perfect place for celebrating Greek cuisine and culture.

The Greek population of Chicago began to gather towards the end of the 19th century.  For over 100 years, Greektown has been the most famous Greek community in the United States.  An estimated 150,000 people of Greek ancestry live in the greater Chicago area.
