Foreigner will be going on tour beginning in July. Unfortunately, this will be their farewell tour.
British guitarist Mick Jones brought musicians together to form Foreigner in 1976 in New York City. Jones has decided he wants to go out while the group is still at the top of its game. That’s understandable but it’s sad for their fans.
And Foreigner has so many fans. They have had numerous Top 10 hits and 10 multi-platinum albums. Foreigner is considered one of the most popular rock acts in the world. Their record sales have exceeded 80 million. Today, streams of the band’s hits an amazing 15 million per week.

Bassist Steve “Spider” Sinnaeve has replaced the late Scott Smith.
