Foreigner will be going on tour beginning in July. Unfortunately, this will be their farewell tour.

British guitarist Mick Jones brought musicians together to form Foreigner in 1976 in New York City. Jones has decided he wants to go out while the group is still at the top of its game. That’s understandable but it’s sad for their fans.

And Foreigner has so many fans. They have had numerous Top 10 hits and 10 multi-platinum albums. Foreigner is considered one of the most popular rock acts in the world. Their record sales have exceeded 80 million. Today, streams of the band’s hits an amazing 15 million per week.

Foreigner’s hits include

  • “I Want To Know What Love Is”
  • “Waiting For A Girl Like You”
  • “Cold As Ice”
  • “Juke Box Hero”
  • “Double Vision”
  • “Hot Blooded”
  • “Urgent”
  • “I Don’t Want To Live Without You”
  • “Feels Like The First Time”
  • “Head Games”
  • “Say You Will”
  • “Long, Long Way From Home”

Loverboy will be joining Foreigner on tour. They’re known for their red leather pants, big rock sound, bandanas and high energy shows. The group still has its original lineup of lead vocalist Mike Reno, Matt Franette on drums, guitarist Paul Dean and Doug Johnson on keyboard. Bassist Steve “Spider” Sinnaeve has replaced the late Scott Smith.

Loverboy’s hits include

  • “Working For The Weekend”
  • “Heaven Is In Your Eyes”
  • “Notorious”
  • “This Could Be The Night” .
  • “Hot Girls In Love”
  • “Turn Me Loose”
  • “When It’s Over”
  • “The Kid Is Hot Tonight”
  • “Queen Of The Broken Hearts”

Loverboy has sold more than 10 million albums, earning 4 multi platinum plaques, including the 4 million selling “Get Lucky.”

The Historic Farewell Tour is coming to Blossom Music Center in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, on July 24, 2023 at 6:30 pm. It has sold out already in a number of cities. Don’t miss out.
