See giant prehistoric creatures come to life at the Donald E. Stephenson Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois. Jurassic Quest is returning to the greater Chicago area on November 5, 6 and 7, 2021.
Life Sized Dinosaurs
Jurassic Quest is America’s largest and most realistic dinosaur event. See more than 100 life sized animatronic dinosaurs. Watching them come to life makes for a fun and thrilling experience for both kids and adults.
These dinosaurs are not statues. They move, turn their heads and swing their tails. Some can walk.
Every dinosaur has a metal frame. Layers of foam have been placed over the frame. Motors inside the dinosaur make them move.
Each dinosaur took months to make. Leading paleontologists were consulted to make sure they were accurately portrayed in every detail from teeth size to coloration to textured skin. Some of the dinosaurs have scales while others have feathers or fur.
Walk through this dinosaur experience at your own pace. You’ll go through the Cretaceous Period, Jurassic Period and Triassic Period and learn about the dinosaurs in each period.
Visit the Ancient Oceans Exhibit and come face to face with the largest apex predator ever – a life sized 50 foot long moving Megalodon. You’ll see Tyrannosaurus Rex, Dilophosaurus, Velociraptors, Troodon, Aquilops, Anzu, Spinosaurus and many more.
Kids’ Activities
Jurassic Quest has a “Triceratots” which is a soft play area for the little ones. There is a dinosaur bounce house and inflatable attractions which require socks.
Kids can discover how it feels to ride one of these enormous creatures. Go on a Giant Fossil Dig and explore the history behind this.
Science and Art Activities
There are interactive science and art activities. Meet baby dinosaurs hatched only in Jurassic Quest. Enjoy interacting with Cammie the Camarasaurus, Tyson the Tyrannosaurus and Trixie the Triceratops. And you can meet one of the star dinosaur trainers, like Prehistoric Nick, Dino Dustin or Safari Sarah.
