Wilkommen to Oktoberfest in Glendale Heights, Illinois. This is happening on September 16-26, 2021, at Camera Park. A massive tent will cover the festivities and allow you to celebrate come rain or shine.
Connect with your inner German and enjoy “oompah” music. Entertainers include

- Eddie Korosa, Jr. & the Boys from Illinois
There will also be magicians, jugglers, stilt walkers, and strolling “oompah” entertainers.
Food & Bier
Enjoy authentic German bier imported directly from the Hofbrau Brewery in Munich, Germany. Bier will also be imported from the oldest brewery in the world, Welhenstephan Hefe Weiss Bier in Bavaria.
The amazing Chef Wolfgang and his crew from the Schnitzel Platz Restaurant will be serving up the German delicacies that they do so well. The menu includes
- Large Fresh German Pretzel
- Roasted Chicken
- Fried Sauerkraut Balls with Honey Mustard
- Giant Pork Shank with Bread Dumpling & Sauerkraut
- Schnitzel Sandwich with Grilled Onions
- Frickadelle (German Burger)
- German Bratwurst or Currywurst
- Homemade Bread Dumpling with Gravy
- Homemade German Potato Salad
- Footlong Frankfurter Wurstchen with Roll
- Cheese Sauce
- Homemade Bavarian Red Cabbage
- Homemade Sauerkraut
Kids meals include hot dogs, hamburgers, cheeseburgers and chicken nuggets. In addition to bier, soft drinks, root beer and bottled water will be available for purchase.
There will be vendors with German products, souvenirs, steins, hats, T-shirts and more. This will make for a great shopping experience.
You’ll get eleven days of Oktoberfest this year. On Monday through Thursday, the fest will open at 5 pm and end at 10 pm. On Friday, it opens at 5 pm and goes until 12 am. Saturdays run from 12 pm to 12 am and Sundays from 12 pm to 10 pm.
