Are you looking to try something new? Are you looking for something fun to do with your friends or significant other? The 2020 Sake & Japanese Spirits Festival is coming to Katana Chicago on February 22, 2020, and fun will be had by all!
Sake is known in Japan as rice wine. It isn’t a wine, though, it’s actually a beer. Beer is an alcoholic beverage made by converting the starches in a grain into sugar and then fermenting them into alcohol. That’s what is done with rice to make it into sake.
Enjoy 3-4 hours of sake tastings. The Festival will have over 20 different sakes to try plus a small variety of Japanese spirits and beers.
A VIP ticket will get you in an hour early with unique tastings only during the VIP hour. You’ll also have one on one time with the brewers.
Katana’s Award Winning Chef will have small bites available for purchase. Enter the Photo Contest by posting pictures on Instagram and Facebook. You can get 3 free rides from Via by using the Promo Code “CHICAGO3.”
And here’s an interesting fact. You won’t get a hangover from drinking sake.
